With the rise of meth usage in Texas, many law enforcement agencies have taken a proactive stance with regard to enforcing relative controlled-substance laws in Texas, resulting in many unlawful or mistaken arrests.

Wrongful Arrests Related to Meth

Mistaken arrests may occur as a result of law enforcement tracking the purchase and sale of materials, equipment, and ingredients used to manufacture meth-amphetamine in distributable quantities. Such a practice by law enforcement can easily lead to the wrongful arrest of a person who was suspected of manufacturing meth on the basis of their purchases.

You Have Rights! The 4th Amendment in Particular

Other unlawful arrests related to meth can be directly related to law enforcement officers in Brazoria County violating the Constitutional Rights of the accused. In these United States we have the 4th Amendment, or a inalienable protection from unlawful searches and seizures. If my legal-team uncovers evidence that your rights were violated, we may be able have the Brazoria County meth charge dismissed.
